Come and have a browse through our stalls, enjoy the music and refreshments and go home with Christmas Presents that you will enjoy giving and have enjoyed buying

Byron Bay are having their first Global Market Day on:

Where: 20 Centennial Circuit, Byron Bay Arts and Industrial Estate.

Presented by Eastgate Christian Community, this will be a great family event with fun for the kids, tasty local food, fair trade and ethical gifts for sale, and great music!

Perfect time for ethical Christmas present shopping!! You can choose from an awesome range of Christmas items available on the day.

All net proceeds go to World Visions "Don't trade lives" campaign against human trafficking.

Christmas is not too far away and it’s just about time to start the enormous task of Christmas present shopping!  Rather than falling victim to massive crowds and annoying shop jingles, come along to Global Market Day and purchase fair trade, unique and ethical prezzies all in the one place.  Not only will your friends and family love a present with a powerful story, but you will be directly supporting disadvantaged communities around the world. Make a family night of it and stay for dinner and enjoy the all-night entertainment, get the kids involved in activities designed just for them and relax in the fair trade Chai Tent.

While you are there, why not transform another child’s life and pack a shoe-box full of goodies to send overseas with Operation Christmas Child.  Operation Christmas Child brings hope and joy to children in desperate situations across the globe through gift-filled shoe-boxes.

Global Market Day (or GMD) is an initiative of Arana Hills Church of Christ and is an ethical, fair trade market.  We seek to create an opportunity for our community to purchase goods, learn from stories around the world and support projects that empower developing communities locally, nationally and internationally.

The church does not benefit financially from GMD, as all stallholder fees from this market will be donated to Operation Christmas Child.
